United World Colleges (UWC) is an education movement consisting of 15 schools and colleges spread out over 4 continents. Students are selected from across the globe based on their merit and potential. All the schools use the IB Diploma as its way of teaching students. All the schools are recognized as boarding schools, where students have a chance to become independent young adults. Each student has to go through an application process, and only a select few have the opportunity to be interviewed.
